Designer Scented Candles, Especially by Nina Ricci, brings back Memories
When my mother died, and the years passed, and her memory grow fader and fader, all that seemed to bring her instantly back to me, was her wonderful perfume by Nina Ricci called “Lair du Temps”. Unfortunately, the last bottle of her perfume had finally dried completely out and the wonderful fragrance was almost gone. I had considered buying another bottle, but since I don’t use that perfume, I never got around to it.
My birthday was coming up and I had expressed to one of my long time girl friends, my not so happy feelings over turning “well over fifty” this year. I wasn’t looking forward to that miserable day at all! My birthday morning started with a nice cup of coffee, and some lit candles. Of course my two “wonderful daughters” had totally forgotten my birthday as usual. They always call a day or two later, with sorrow in their voices, I still love them very much!!
Later in the afternoon that day, I saw a UPS truck drive up and a nice fellow handed me a package. I could not believe that a little package could be that exciting to open, but it was. And the more I opened it, the more a wonderful scent started to fill my immediate surrounding. It couldn’t be, but it was! The wonderful fragrance of Nina Ricci came from a Nina Ricci scented candle.
A pretty little card with my girl friends best wishes on it, brought tears to my eyes, and because of her and a beautiful Nina Ricci scented candle, I ended up having a nice birthday after all. Just me, my mother and a Nina Ricci designer scented candle. I talked to my girl friend not long ago, and she informed me that these designer scented candles come in almost any designer fragrances and are very reasonably priced. So, this year my Christmas list is going to consist of my family and friends favorite fragrances of designer scented candles. Who knows what kind of great memories I can bring back to them!!!
