Forget Pot Luck, let’s have a “Candle” Party!
I decided to throw a totally different party for all my friends this year. I was really tired of doing the same thing year after year, with my usual list of; who is suppose to bring the potato salad, who is going to bring the dessert and so on. Boooring!!! It took me a while to think of a new topic for my party, but then it suddenly hit me. Everybody loves candles, why not have everyone bring one or two candles each, to my Candle Party instead!
I have a lot of friends, so I figured that I should end up with at least 150 candles or even more. I decided that everybody could bring any kind of shape, size or style candles they like, as long as they where not Scented Candles. I didn’t want them all to end up with a gigantic headache, if there would be dozens of mixed Candle Scents all over the place.
I tell you, everybody brought an array of different Unscented Candles, from Tapers & Spiral Candles and Votive Candles to Tea Lights, Pillar Candles and just plain Regular Candles. And in every Candle Color you can think of! We where all just amazed over how beautiful the house and backyard looked, once we had lit up every last candle. But, what was most amazing about it; Everybody got really in a romantic mood. I have never seen so many couples dancing and kissing all night long, even our resident loud mouth, when he gets drunk, didn’t raise his voice once!
