Reed Diffusers vs Potpourri vs Scented Candles
Me and my girlfriends always fight over which one gets to use her favorite Scented Candles, reed diffusers, or potpourri for our intimate dorm parties. I mean, we can’t have lots of different aromas floating around the room; people will get dizzy, so we decided to have a contest. The one that would make the best argument for their favorite one would win, and get to use it at our parties for a whole month. Of course we got into a fight when we’re all trying to convince each other why one is better than the other.
For example, I always think that my special Scented candles with their flickering lights, is the way to really get that intimate romantic feeling going with my special guy. But then my best friend said that the Reed Diffusers is where it’s at today, they look really great with their colorful reeds and kind of fuming scents. She said that she had tried aromatherapy scented reeds once when she and her boyfriend were alone, and he really liked them.
My other best girlfriend is all into potpourri, and she has glass bowls filled with pretty looking dried flowers and leaves all over her dorm room. They are really pretty looking I have to admit, but they are kind of outdated and boring. I still use mesh bags filled with potpourri in my drawers, and closet, but that is as far as it goes. Her argument is though, that you never have to worry about forgetting to blow out any candles, or dripping fuming reeds, but you still have that sensual, relaxing and wonderfully smelling potpourri filling the air around you with no worries. Well, these where all great arguments, but who’s the winner?? And after we thought long and hard about it, we all chose the potpourri. The first reason was clearly safety, the second reason was, its more global friendly, when it comes to think green, and lastly potpourri has the same great aroma effect as the other two ones.
So, here’s to the winner of some beautiful smelling and safe potpourri for a whole month!!!
