So what are your plans for Valentines day
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and it seems like everyone around me is trying to come up with something spectacular. But what exactly is spectacular? I think my husband is spectacular, so I’m just happy to be with the man I love. I don’t want to go in a hot air balloon or take a carriage ride through the park. I just want to be with my man. I’m simple in that way. All I want is a nice dinner, and some time to snuggle with my honey by the fire.
Dinner is his job, but the rest is up to me. Valentine’s Day was made for candles. Romantic candles can be floating candles, votive candles, scented candles, really any candles. The warm glow that a candle creates is the perfect romantic atmosphere. I just got in some beautiful taper candle holders that are perfect for a night like this. White taper candles are so elegant on a table, and I love when I find occasions to use them. A couple of votive’s on the window sills will finish the look. Just hope the food isn’t complicated to eat with lots of cutting, because it’s going to be hard to see in there! And after that lazing by the fire, maybe a few scented candles here or there, but I don’t think they’ll be needed to add any more romance to the evening.
